One of the ministries that we have been involved in so far is a Daily Vacation Bible School (DVBS) that we help with every saturday morning. This is a bible school program that they are completing once a week so that it will last for an entire month. Ruben, Sharon, and Joy (our hosts) are in charge of the DVBS, but we get the joy of singing and playing with the children.
We pick a large group of children up from their homes before the bible school and walk them to the church. They spend the morning listening to a bible story, singing songs, doing crafts, and learning bible verses. The kids really enjoy spending time with us, and we are incredibly blessed by them.
